Details, details, the finicky bits are fun!

In every picture I create, whether it be a simple line cartoon, or a complex major work, two facets strike me as significant: the line, that basic line which reveals the fundamental form of the piece; and the ornamentation, those finicky details which decorate the structure. How much detail to use depends on the nature of the subject and what it needs to communicate.
